What is fluidCase ?
- An easy to use, intuitive visual prototyping authoring environnement.
- Customizables players to deploy anywhere.*
- Auto-instrumented analytics.
FluidCase targets to become a free open source alternative, from prototyping tools like Balsamiq mockups, Flair Builder, Caretta's softwares, ProtoShare, to analytic tools like noldus suite. by ubiquitous content oriented applicative runtime.
How it works ?
- FluidCase global prototyping environment, relies on a XML based assemblage notation : FcXML)
- FcXML is intrepreter by runtime intepreters.
- FcXML = MXML (06 & 09) + FXG + FC extensions (attributes & elements). (FcXML supports most of adobe's MXML 2006 / 2009 / FXG, and adds extended features, like : sequences, and time based views, auto-tracking, dynamic classes, dynamic properties, complex layouts, ... )
- Properties value are declared in the FcXML and passed to native classes after their instantiation.
- With FcXML it is possible to performs dynamic user interface compositions at runtime (forms, controls, windows, buttons, image, pdf, web content, videos, visual components ...).
- FluidCase will support soon FcXML to (XHTML + SVG + SMIL) transcoding
What can i do with fluidcase ?
You can implement :
- interactive slides
- dynamic forms
- push oriented content applications
- e-learning platforms
- application prototypes

You can generate dynamicly FLEX like UI using server side FcXML generator.
Free and open source software policy :
Fluidcase is a truly open and free piece of software. It will always remain free, open and non commercial, under GPL license. Each quater updated version are proposed as intermediary releasse, and major releases will be proposed each 12 / 18 months.
* The current version is , based on adobe integrated runtime(AIR). Version 2.X will be designed with ubiquity in mind : "conceive once - run anywhere." the editor will still use AIR, but we will implement various players to be as ubiquitous as possible (webkit+JS, iphone &android wrappers, Java, Flash/flex, ...). Right now fluidCase supports : linux, mac os x, windows in a browser, as desktop application or a kiosk.
